In the 30 years I have ee doing chiropractic care, almost every child has responded positively. Babies are adjusted differently than adults
The youngest infant I had ever adjusted was 2 maybe 3 hours old. She had been screaming that high pitched scream, that isn't a hungry cry or one of anger, just a non-top high -pitched shrill scream.. The mom held this precious little one, as I assessed her and found an issue with the top two vertebrae of her neck. An issue in this instance refers to lack of proper movement and a shift off to the left of those top two vertebrae. With children, or the frail and elderly, I use a handheld spring loaded device and basically position the device to adjust the vertebrae back into alignment. Once the device moved the vertebrae, the newborn baby immediately fell asleep, and the crying stopped. It was so sudden, that the quiet was deafening so quick, almost as if someone had turned off the swtich from pain to no pain. She became a lifetime client from then on.
